    • Gripping, I thought I was part of the team.e best yet. Can,t wait for a new one. The writing g just flows like a film.

    • 12th of Never is the 12th book in the Women's Murder Club series by James Patterson. The novel begins with Detective Lindsay Boxer in labor. After only a week at home with newborn daughter, Lindsay returns back to work and takes on two big cases. A serial killer wakes from a two-year coma ready to reveal where bodies are buried but he'll only confess to Lindsay. A football player is the prime suspect in a murder. A child is missing. Yuki is working on yet another high profile trial prosecuting a [...]

    • I wholeheartedly agree with most of the 1 star raters. In my opinion this is probably the worst of the Women's Murder Club novels. I've read them all, as well as most of Patterson's adult focused books. James is over the edge, drifting into mediocrity, trying to paper the world with incongruous plots and character dialog. In 12th, he (and his co-author) allows Lindsey to continue to evolve into a girlie girl, a softie who is now far less believable as a SFPD homicide detective. With each ne [...]

    • This book makes too much of a mockery of the good guys. It may be better as a television crime drama, but I definitely prefer to not read a book where the heros and heroines are losing cases in court; losing bodies from the morgue; and losing criminals from custody all in one story. It's all too much for my taste. I do however like the concept of the sisterhood of the four main female characters; the surprises that make for a good mystery are there; and it was written well, despite the story its [...]

    • James Patterson's books have never been the same since he started "collaborating" with other writers but this has to be one of the worst examples. I kept going back over chapters as it seemed I missed something. The order of the chapters did not make sense, too much going on and the many, many chapters of Yuki examining her witnesses on the stand were boring. I have not even finished the book but felt I had to write a review. From reading the other reviews I am not sure I should bother. It is [...]

    • First let me say that I've been a Patterson fan for years and years - and have especially enjoyed the Womens Murder Club series. I should also note that I am not a 'picky' reader - critiquing every little thing about a book - I just want to be entertained and get caught up and carried away by a good storyline. This latest effort was a true disappointment to me. It seemed as though there was some mad effort to throw as many unrelated storylines at the reader as possible with no 'plausible' exp [...]
