    • I think there are two types of Diana Palmer books, one where the hero are massive jerks and heroine simpering idiots and then there is this one, where the heroine is fabulous, she is witty, she is sassy, she is AWESOME! She calls a spade a spade and takes pleasure in pointing out short-coming of the hero as a dad, in his wardrobe and in that child he was considering marrying. I totally loved it. I am so glad I found this in my friend's Erika's favourites shelf. I often find myself going through [...]

    • I think my DP roll is going to come to an end soon. I'll read a book or two more, because I don't yet feel like going back into the world of non-asshole heroes and non-innocent heroines who are in love with them. God, DP. She is like a soothing balm for me, every once in a while when I get tired of reading awful, bitchy heroines and unpleasant plots, I always pick up a Palmer book. She always manages to have an uplifting effect on me, even if the book turns out to be not so good, even if I decid [...]

    • Well, buku ini dibuat tahun 1984. Jadi nggak heran kalau agak "tua". Bulu dada sama sekali bukan favorite. Ha! Terjemahannya jg nggak kalah kaku.

    • Okay, the book was really funny. I enjoyed reading it. I loved the hero and heroine's first meeting. It made me laugh out loud Literally."Now now. Temper, temper. You'll hurt yourself.""I'm so glad you like me Mr. Thorpe. I like you too. Dark, somber men really turn me on."I don't know if I like the heroine Merlyn or not. I felt ambivalent towards her. I liked her because she's funny, has a sense of humor, how she get a rise out of Cameron and stands up for herself. And at the same time I don't [...]

    • I liked it, even though there are some parts that made me rolled my eyes. Mostly because the Hero is super annoying, he made me want to smack him in the face. It's just, he's so mean towards the heroine yet he admit that he "want" the heroine. Weirdo. But overall I enjoyed this book. Look forward to read another Diana Palmer's books.

    • This one was actually fun! In some of her older books, DP's heroines sometimes make me want to slap them, but I really enjoyed Merlyn's sass and the way she poked and prodded her way past Cam's stuffiness. That and the fact that this is one of DP's heroines who, although a virgin, has actually heard about sex makes Merlyn a favorite DP character:-)

Akhirn [...]

Ini buku kedua fave-ku diluar jacobsville series, berkisah mengenai Merlyn yg baru aja patah hati krn tunangannya ternyata lbh mencintai harta Merlyn. Merlyn yakin laki2 mendekatinya hanya krn dia kay [...]

    • I recently found a few of Diana Palmer's older books and I must admit I love all of her books. I started this one and it was a little hard to get in to and maybe that was because it is an older one, but once I got in to it I was sucked in and read it in a little under 7 hours.Cameron is a douche and seriously I wouldn't want to be with him but they have a love hate relationship and I just love that push and pull. Merlyn doesn't take his attitude at all and stands up for herself and for that I am [...]

    • This was such a delightful and satisfying read. I laughed, I cried and I rejoiced in the happy ending of Cameron and Merlyn. A feel good book for sure and fills my incurably romantic heart with so much love and happiness and of course hope that all is well with the world again. I would re-read it again sometime. Highly recommended.

    • Another hitThis is one of her earlier books. The technology in these books date them to a specific decade. Computers with floppy disks, no cell phones and even the clothing can date a book. The story still stands as a good one. I especially loved Merlyn's character. The best defense is a wonderful offense

    • If it had a better title I think it would get read more often. Since Diana Palmer is one of the queens of re-releasing she should re-release this one with a new title.n't even have to be a new cover. I like the cover. Just hate the title. There are a lot of references to Jane Eyre. Also a lot of laugh out loud moments.

    • Beneran deh, ini ceritanya klise banget. Tapi saya suka. Jadi inget komentar temen saya, apaan sih buku kayak gitu dibaca? Nggak bermutu. :))

    • Rather surprising, the male protagonist isn't that dreadful. Still, the old formula, the virgin, naive girl, meeting a complex, mature sophisticated manAt least the female protagonist here isn't a wimp. :D

    • I loved this book! The interaction between the characters keeps you reading to see what they say and do next! They are wonderful together and the chemistry is hot and fun from the beginning :)!

    • Lady loveWonderful Palmer book. Was not disappointed. Great read. Loved it. Recommend it highly. Always enjoy her books. Give it a try.

    • Not baddibandingkan darling Enemy yang tokohnya rada2 nyebelin:pWalau masih tetap gaya cerita yg sama, gadis kaya (tapi msh virgin), cowok kaku tapi tampan.

    • suka banget sama endingnyaternyata si ayah mirip-mirip sama si macgregor yang suka ngejodoh-jodohin anaknya :D

    • This book is hilarious! I am afraid to say too much, but the scene with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra is classic, and I laughed until the tears ran down! It is the best of Diana Palmer's romances.

    • Fun book, but these have to be some seriously addle-brained people if she's so darn popular in her social circle.

    • This was an easy read. It had fun characters and a very predictable plot. But I liked it. The passion was hot and the humor was just what I needed. I laughed a lot through the whole thing.

    • love it love it, suka banget ama novel DP yg 1 ini, deket2 endingnya bagus, si cam dengan cara apapun mau memenangkan cinta si merlyn lg.
