    About “Ginger Simpson

    • Ginger Simpson

Ginger Simpson grew up reading anything by Laura Ingalls Wilder and became so fascinated with western historical novels, they ve remained her favorite for years than she cares to admit. In 2002, Ginger decided to attempt writing her own novel, and in 2003 her first offering, Prairie Peace, was published Since then, she s dabbled in other genres but always seems to migrate back to her favorite historical era.At the beginning, Ginger accepted contracts with e publishers with the realization her work would not be offered in actual stores, rather made available for sale by download or ordering through Internet sites At the time, the reward of acceptance was enough, and the prayer that downloadable books would grow in popularity seems to have come to pass Ginger admits she s no spring chicken, and her final goal is to see at least one of her works available in an actual brick and mortar store just so she can nod when someone asks if Walmart sells her books. She s often joked that she may have to sneak a book into Walmart and leave it on the shelf next to one of Nora Robert s novels, but that s not really how she d like her next novel to get there Besides, there s probably a law that prohibits such a deed She s already worked in a jail, so she doesn t care to experience the other side of the bars Note from Ginger 2011 I actually did sneak a book into Walmart and take a picture of it on the best sellers shelve I have the photo to prove it I got a few weird looks from nearby people, but I didn t get arrested or escorted from the store smile

    • At 49, divorcee Cassie Fremont seems to have her life running smoothly. Still very attractive, she has a prestigious position at work, even though her current boss fails to appreciate her, a beautiful house that she shares with her elderly but independent mother and a close, happy relationship with all her family. But after her loveless and childless marriage ends in divorce, Cassie begins to feel unfulfilled and extremely lonely. She's on the brink of depression and considers ending her life ra [...]

    • In Ginger Simpson’s Betrayed, we meet Casandra, Cassie for short. She’s almost 50, divorced, depressed, hates her boss and lives with her mother. Craving affection, she begrudgingly tries online dating and meets Evan, a cowboy from Texas. They fall for one another fast. Her family is worried because of his past. But love blinds Cassie from Evan’s scheming and lies. Evan moves in and starts his landscaping business with Cassie’s money and credit. She ignores the signs and believes his lie [...]

    • "Embezzled Love" by Ginger Simpson makes the case that while love might not be blind, it certainly needs a significantly stronger prescription.Cassie Fremont is an accomplished, independent woman of a certain age, with a failed marriage (complete with scumbag ex-husband) in her past and a horrifyingly sexist and abusive tyrant of a boss in her present. Her future isn’t looking all that much better, what with sharing a home with her aged mother and feeling to exhausted to meet anyone after surv [...]

    • I am more accustomed with Ms Simpson’s western romances, so wondered what to expect from a contemporary love story which begins on the internet. However it wasn’t long before I was drawn into being an observer to a love story that was doomed from the beginning and rapidly degenerated as time went on. The narrative showed well how people don’t want to think badly of someone they are attracted to, our instinct to give people second and third chances, but in the end mistake love for something [...]

    • Cassie has a good job, but a boss who hates her and puts her down. She has a kind and interested family, but she's also pushing fifty and divorced, and feeling the pinch of loneliness and "what have I done with my life." How she falls into the trap of an on-line con man is a story all too believable. Well written, with strong characters and motivation which rings true--this is a moving and skillyfully handled novelization of a true story.

    • This isn't my usual type of book but i was very impressed. this book kept my reading and interested, I only have positive things to say about Ginger Simpson.

    • A wonderful story and a very emotional one if you've ever been a position to question yourself with regards to friends or boyfriends.
