    • Really wasn't my cup of tea but still an interesting viking romance. I read this while reading Crichton's Eaters of the Dead (also viking-era) and it was interesting to note similarities in the facts of the era—both authors obviously did their research. My only real problem with Forbidden Passion was the lack of ending. It just suddenly ended with them being chased through the woods, the hero making all sorts of plans and then finally telling the heroine that he loved her and wanted to marry h [...]


    • 4.5/5 stars. I really enjoyed this book. The ending left me happy and smiling for Thomas and Yngveld (never could say her name right). Also, the passion that the two main characters had felt real (one example is when Thomas went after Yngveld when he learned that she would be sacrificed). I wished the book was a bit longer to flesh out some of the secondary characters (Aelfred, Thomas's half brother, had no character development. He was in the book for three chapters).
