    • On GoodReads, honestly, I really should be giving Reality Glitch four stars. It's an anthology, and no one is blown away by every single story in a collection like this - especially when it ranges so widely across the SF and Fantasy genres. But I just can't bring myself to do that. This is a quality collection from a number of differing authors, with one common denominator: every single one of them is at least very well written, and several are gem quality. As one might guess from the title, they [...]

    • I was given a free copy of this book so I could write an honest review.I liked all the stories in this book, but the most outstanding one for me was "A Grave Honeymoon: Gerald Bianco". This was a paranormal story which felt somewhat like Sherlock Homes. I will be looking for more stories by this author.I only found one minor typo in the whole book which is great! The only story I would choose not to to read again was "Jumping for Charlotte" as this was a touch morbid for me. But that is only per [...]

    • Thanks to K.S. Ferguson for this aptly titled collection by authors from the U.S Britain, Canada, and Australia. Their tales differ widely but have one thing in common, their involvement with the parallel universe. Prepare to be entertained.Split Decisions, Jo SparkesIn this dreamlike story, an uncertain Red must choose a direction that could end in life or death.Bridge to Ellington, Natalie GrigsonHarold is paid to steer people from computer games into reading. Meanwhile he has his own computer [...]

    • A great mix of stories from authors across the globe - each with their own voice, and style of writing. If you're looking for a collection of unique stories that incorporate fantastic or mythical elements into otherwise realistic fiction, then you'll love this book!

    • There are some cool sci-fi stories in this one if your schedule is better suited to short stories than full-length novels. And your taste runs to sci-fi horror or dark sci-fi. Some stand-outs for me included Old Cyrus, a rather unique take on genie folklore, by James McCormick. I loved what he did with this. I’ve read my share of these stories, and seen my share of films on the topic, and this was perhaps the most profound and entertaining take on the subject. The fact that he fit this much st [...]

    • I read this on a transcontinental flight, and it was perfect, kept me entertained for hours. I happen to be one of those people who thinks string theory just shows to what bizarre lengths mathematicians will go to preserve their equations. Nevertheless, the idea of multiverses makes for thought-provoking fiction. Do our choices define our reality? What would it mean if our dead loved ones could stay with us? Or if the evil dead could inhabit the living? If you found yourself in a world where you [...]

    • Reality Glitch is a collection of short stories all based on a theme of alternative realities. Each story tackles this theme from a different direction, and as would be expected from a collection written by different novelists they vary both in style and quality. The overall impression I had was that each tale is gripping, and it was for me a page turner throughout.A couple of the stories stood out for me: Writer's Block by Michael Gardner - what would happen if the biggest fan of a famous autho [...]

    • I really enjoyed this collection of varied creative stories from new authors that cross genres. There’s something for everyone in Reality Glitch, I can attest to the premise that our choices define our reality. I thoroughly enjoyed Split Decisions by Jo Sparkes. I toy with the idea of parallel universes so enjoyed Jumping for Charlotte by Alexander Engel-Hodgkinson.And of course James McCormick's book, Old Cyrus. I loved the genie arriving in a twister in the middle of hillbilly America complet [...]

    • I received a free copy of this book from a giveaway. There were no real standouts in this collection of short stories, and a couple really weak ones lacking in creativity. Overall, not a great collection of fantasy and sci-fi, but some were entertaining. My favourite was Liquorice Shoelace by James Field, about a man caught in a strange time-loop. But anthologies are often hit and miss. The good news is that with short stories there is no long term commitment on each one so you can quickly move [...]
