    • I loved the mood of Karl's second novel: college campus, ancient artifacts, a library, and lots of mystery to boot. A fast-paced adventure and a great read!

    • I really enjoyed the first book from this author, but something about this one just didn't click for me. I liked the unique plot and the characters had occupations that aren't as common in fiction, a professor and ex-Secret Service. I just never felt like Colin was as cautious with Ginny's safety as he should have been, given his past. The author threw in few plot twists that kept things interesting. All in all, I was expecting a little better, but it was still an entertaining read. I'd recommend [...]

    • Michelle is a fairly new author with LIS but if you haven't read any of her books you are missing some awesome writing. This story is well written, action packed and full of twists and turns. I know you will enjoy it.Virginia (Ginny) Anderson is a professor at a small college. Scarred from a bad accident years ago she feels she can only make a difference in the world through academics. To get on the tenure-tract she must complete her project. She is given the ancient tablet of the country of Ama [...]

    • First time reading from this author!I must say, I truly enjoyed Unknown Enemy. The story started off with a bang, (which I'm a sucker for) and never ceased to slow down. Michelle Karl was able to write an incredible intriguing novel filled with gripping twists and turns, with such detailed descriptions you felt as if you had been placed in the scenes of the novel. Her words flowed well, and there was never a scene written I thought the novel could do without. She definitely did her research too! [...]

    • This book surprised me with it's good pacing and character development. I devoured it in one sitting and it was an easy read with excellent narration that kept the "who-done-it" aspect twisting and turning.

    • Who knew being a University Professor in Ancient Civilizations could be so dangerous?Ancient tablets that may be the key to a new Archeological discovery, mysterious threats, and deadly happenings on an unsuspecting College Campus. Can Colin Tapping protect Ginny Anderson from an unknown enemy?Another great Michelle Karl Love-inspired suspense novel. Watch for her third one coming 2017.

    • "Colin’s perfectionist tendencies make him feel like his past failures define him, which makes him a relatable character, as does Ginny’s struggle with self-worth. The hero and heroine demonstrate that everyone has scars. The key is learning to appreciate them and what they can teach us" (4 stars @ RT Book Reviews).

    • Did 're care for what I read (12% ) but it just couldn't catch my attention for more than a few pages at a time.
