    • This picture book is hilarious. It's an adaptation of the movie "Barbie as Rapunzel," and it assumes a great deal of familiarity with that story. If you haven't seen the film, it will come across as weirdly bizarre, with huge sense jumps and comically absurd leaps in the story (like the introduction of both a magic paintbrush AND a magic hair brush). For me, I didn't even know there was a film, and for years I read this aloud to my daughter, having a very hard time trying to containing the guffa [...]


    • I actually own this as treasury with 'The Nutcracker'. It's wonderfully illustrated. Nice book for children. I hope to share it with my daughter one day (If I have a girl) . I thought it was nice but didn't understand why her hair was long at the end? Gothel cut it off!
