    • So Fai has a terrible past. (view spoiler)[ Fai ( whose name is actually Yuui) has a twin brother Fai and they were imprisoned and then blablabla happened confusing (hide spoiler)] at least some things are explained but woah the story got too complex. I can't imagine what will happen next and how everything will be okay will it be okay?

    • Throw everything and everything you love about this series out the door! In these past few volumes, everything has changed. Almost every character has gone through an intense transformation. There are two Syaoran's, one who continues to travel with Sakura and the others, and another who is looking for the feathers on his own. With Sakura's soul split up from her body, it'll be interesting to see how feathers continue to be selected. Then we have Fye. We've finally learned about his past, and let [...]

    • Ahora se conocerá el motivo de Sakura para partir sola en su viaje, separada del grupo, y además se muestra el pasado de Fye, viajando los compañeros restantes al país de Ceres, de donde proviene el hechicero.

    • Well I guess we’re back to playing the waiting game, as this collection was basically full of exposition about the group planning what they would do now that Sakura has been separated from them. The final decision (that they would go find her body on Fai’s home world) was completely expected, but this forced journey to Fai’s world ended up revealing a lot about the magician’s backstory. Fai’s been carrying a lot of secrets from the group, which doesn’t totally surprise me, but I’m [...]

    • I remember thinking a few volumes back, when I learned more about Kurogane's background that I was excited to know the other characters' backgrounds.Man, I thought Kurogane's wretchedly sad, but compared to Fai'sor Yui'sJust because they were born twins. (Though they were adorable twins; I love the panel of their clasped hands when they refused to part ways when their punishment was announced.) The first curse was that he would be compelled to kill any stronger wizard in his presence. (However t [...]

    • November 2013: 4 StarsOkay, first of all, remember in my review for volume 19, I said that Fai needs to catch a break? Yeah, that hasn't happened yet. GODDAMIT NOW YOU'RE TELLING ME HIS *CHILDHOOD* WAS WROUGHT WITH MISERY AS WELL?!?! Poor. Freaking. FAI!!!Spoilers:Okay, so basically, I didn't really grasp the point of this volume except for what follows:A) Fai has been lying about his magic from the startB) Ashura-o, whom we met as the god of another world, is a king in Fai's world? What?C) Fai [...]

    • I think Kurogane described it best when he exclaimed, "What went on here!" Indeed, the last volume left everyone (or at least me) flabbergasted as WTF moment of events occurred. Although, we do get an explanation of sorts in this volume as to what happened, the convoluted nature of the explanation gives one flashbacks of Star Trek Voyager's technobabble deus ex machina solutions. However, the story really picks up in the latter half of the book, as we are finally shown the mysterious history sur [...]

    • OHHH, okay, it makes sense now!(Also, poor, poor Fai!)Seriously, though, I was just used to the series being more linear. Or if it did jump back in time and give us stuff from the past, this would be clearly defined as a flashback or story or whatever. It didn't really occur to me that there would be flashbacks (the sad waif child in volume 19) that would be shown in one volume and then not explained as such until the next. I didn't even know WHOSE flashback that waif child was! But now that I k [...]

    • I'm still a little stunned. I mean, I expected there to be something bad in Fye's past but something this bad? I wonder how he can even function. And I wonder if he remembered the second curse. I mean, Feiwan told him that he didn't need to remember it, so And it's pretty funny - at the beginning, Kurogane couldn't get away from them fast enough, now he's the one holding the group together. Also, they keep sacrificing pieces of themselves to have their wishes fulfilled, I wonder where that will [...]

    • So sad! Poor Fai and Yui! Really good installment. (I wonder if I should tell my mom and aunt that twins are cursed. think on this.) Please visit my blog for a full review of the series: perksofbeinganotakuwallflower

    • I wish I could give this volume 5 stars, because I'm fairly certain some pretty big things were happening unfortunately for me, the copy I got from the library had every page of plot revelation or action sequences very carefully razored out. Soooo I'm not actually sure what's going on in the book, because they lead up to something really major AND page(s) gone.

    • Okay, I really read the english version, but I couldn't find it anywhereBut it was pretty good. Who would've guessed Fai was the biggest liar! I thought he was so kind and truthful! I was completely off! And now Sakura is trapped in that glass like thing, and this is where the picture at the beginning of vol 1 came in. It was pretty good volume, but I want to see action!

    • So, so, so many plot twists in these last few volumes. In one way I love to hate what's going on in parts, especially with how great the character development is and how it is changing as the journey goes on.

    • The more we learn of Fai's past, we discover how tragic his beginnings were. He had already been an interesting character, fun to followbut now, this character pulls at the heartstrings of the reader.

    • I remember reading fai's story and then my shell of a being crying and crying. when my brothers asked what was up I was just "Fai"

    • Had to reread due to awful scanulations. Made a heck of alot more sense in book format though. ;P Darn for not counting rereads though. ={

    • When did this manga go from fun adventure and laughter to heart-breaking drama.I don't know, but I'm LOVING it!

    • With the Princess's wish coming to fruition, the rest of the gang head to Fai's homeland. Fai's past is revealed, and once again he may not be who he claims to be.
