    • The language and the vocabulary used in the book is really nice. Although the book seems a bit slow at first(may be because this is the first part of the trilogy and it deals with the entry of Winston at first), it picks up pace once the action starts. The plot is excellent and comparable to the original Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. I felt the book should have had a bit more of the logical analysis from very minute details(for example read the beginning of "the blue carbuncle" adve [...]


    • Interesting Sherlock story suggesting Winston Churchill was involved with 221B Baker St as a young boy. This first story with Winston seems like he has a minor role. It would be interesting to see if his role is larger in other stories. Another Sherlock story-line!!!!


    • This is a bit better than a straight three, but certainly not a four.Solid mystery, nice inclusion of Wild West Show, and the Zulu war.Winston was allowed to be an entertaining addition to the SH mythos.Looking forward to next two books.
