    • I really enjoyed this well researched and well written story of love, loss and new beginnings. Not only are we introduced to different countries and cultures, we meet some great characters along the way and get to know their traits and thoughts in depth. Some very interesting character studies!

    • Romance novel author Heather Simpson meets handsome French-Moroccan aristocrat Ghalib Tourniquet on a cruise ship, but will anything come out of their unexpected shipboard romance? This is a lush, intricately-plotted romance novel which flows effortlessly from scene to scene, has great characters and many memorable events. The book as a whole is thoroughly engrossing, and the ending is excellent, bringing the story to an appropriate close in the events.

    • A stunning, richly written novel that goes above and beyond the standard Romance fare.Romance novels are not normally my thing, but I was taken aback and completely engrossed in Casablanca, My Heart, from the very first page. The story is told from two perspectives, which I found to be a nice touch, and the story flowed nicely to the point where the characters re-unite.Th story moves at a brisk pace, and while it jumps back and forth in time, this is never confusing, and the transitions are well [...]

    • I confess that the title of this book made me think it would be a pleasant but unedifying Mills and Boon style of story. And it is written in present tense throughout, another of my peeves. But Hannah Warren handles this style of writing so skilfully that it felt natural and not intrusive in any way. This is not her first language but, my goodness, she writes far better than many an English native. She employs simple elegant sentences, brings to life places and people, colour, atmosphere and bea [...]

    • It's hard to believe that this is Ms. Warren's debut novel. This book is, in short, a stunning work of literary fiction. The prose is graceful, elegant, and the reader can feel the love and care the author took in writing. Every sentence is a delight, every paragraph a feast for the senses. Ms. Warren is a skillful writer who paints vivid pictures with words, and the reader can quite easily see the world that she describes. I got chills in several places, such as the scene the morning of Luc's f [...]

    • Casablanca, My Heart is an unashamedly romantic novel with an international backdrop, reflecting the well-travelled cultural and linguistic knowledge of it's author, Hannah Audrey Warren. Hannah's writing is smooth, precise and, at times, sumptuous. She has crafted a well thought out story with delightful touches of descriptive detail throughout. The central characters are well defined and work effectively together. The more peripheral characters do what they should; bind the story together with [...]

    • Two Stars - It was ok.One of those books where you are in a time machine. Each chapter is a diffrent year toing and froing, it must be me but I find this really difficult to keep up with and have to start book-marking. Would be helpful if there was an index with the dates on.Hannah most definitely has a fantastic writing ability, paragraphs where alive with her ability to paint the picture of the story. My favorite part in this book is when Heather and Luuk's relationship is being played out, I [...]

    • Are you looking for a heartwrenching tale of love revisited, look No further! This piece will take you to places that only the heart knows. Romance author, Heather goes on a trip to magical Casablanca and finds what she wasn't expecting. Tragedy strikes not once in her life but twice. The journey of this woman is amazing. Hannah Warren not only does this justice but hits it out of the park. She shows a passion for her work the likes I've seen in very few. You won't be sorry if you get this book, [...]

    • I loooved this book! A beautifully written tale of love, life and chance encounters, it ticked all the boxes for me. This easy to read story has twists I didn’t see coming and an inside look from both main characters perspective. Sometimes so sad I had to put it done for a moment, sometimes so passionate I had to put it down for a moment, this story is emotive. Hannah guides you through with her lovely prose and in-depth characterisation. A must read for romantics at heart.

    • A stunning a debut novel. Beautifully written, the author skillfully and weaves a story that draws you in. The characters appear both realistic and fully rounded and you feel an affinity with the lovely and wounded HeatherThe book cleverly questions what part fate and pure chance play in our lives and leads us to question whether our lives our mapped out.I urge you to read this thoroughly recommended work from a genuine talent.

    • This took a little while for me to actually get into this book, but it was actually a decent read in the end. When Heather Simpson goes on holiday for a rest from caring for her husband, she feels guilty enough. When she meets a guy on board, she can’t resist him. One afternoon together is all they get. Fast forward a few years, and everything has changed in both their lives.
