    • Eternity Springs is a very small town, nestled in the Colorado Mountains, with scatterings of Victorian-era cottages and store fronts and rustic cabins all surrounded by mountains, lakes, waterfalls, and forest. It was originally founded by three friends, Harry Cavanaugh, Daniel Murphy and Lucien Davenport. Once again I praise Ms. March for that special talent of making the setting breathtakingly real. As a reader, I appreciate the details this author gives to all aspects of this book, making me [...]

    • The thing that makes Emily March's Eternity Springs series great is its characters, their struggles and close knit bond and I am so glad this time around we see Jack get his happy ending. I have wanted to read about Jack Davenport since ages, he's a mysterious man who works for the CIA and drops in at his house at Eagle's Way in the town of Eternity Springs quietly before disappearing again. In the last book he kind of kidnapped Cat, his ex-wife. For me this book worked on so many levels, we grad [...]

    • Welcome to small town romance at its finest. March returns to the gorgeous town of Eternity Springs and its surrounding areas in a heart-warming tale that kept me captive throughout. the well written novel flows brilliantly via March’s eloquent yet approachable writing. The slight overlap with the previous novel really had it all hitting home for me, drawing the town even closer together. I loved getting back together with the friends I’ve made in Eternity Springs so far in this series. Cele [...]

    • Jack Davenport was a spy who had once been married to Cat. Cat's mother, Melinda was Jack's boss. While Cat knew very little about Jack's work, he wasn't allowed to talk about it, she was in love. Then there were fertility issues and when Cat finally got pregnant, Jack was gone when their daughter was stillborn. Cat was devastated and inconsolable. When Jack finally got home she handed him a map to the cemetery directing him to Lauren's grave. Jack did his best to comfort his wife even though he [...]

    • Nightingale Way is a great addition into the Eternity Spring series! The author takes you on a realistic journey in each of these books and through great writing I find myself resonating with each character. You could actually see the wheels turning in both Jack and Cat's mind, which in the end leads to maturity in both of them. One downer for me is that I really wish it had an epilogue. Besides from that, I enjoyed this book and especially all of the the friendships.

    • This series is really growing on me - a second chance love story handled with sensitivity. The inspirational aspects are still there but blended into the storyline in a more realistic way. 3.5 stars

    • This is the story of Jack Davenport and Catherine Blackburn. Jack is very rich and very secretive and is a member of one of the founding families of Eternity Springs. Catherine(Cat)is Jack's former wife. She had her house firebombed so Jack has brought her to Eternity Springs for her safety. While in Eternity Springs Cat begins to find close friends and to discover she still has feelings for Jack. Jack has always had feelings for Cat but feels hurt by things that have happened in his life. The b [...]

    • THIS SUMMARY/REVIEW WAS COPIED FROM OTHER SOURCES AND IS USED ONLY AS A REMINDER OF WHAT THE BOOK WAS ABOUT FOR MY PERSONAL INTEREST. ANY PERSONAL NOTATIONS ARE FOR MY RECOLLECTION ONLY**In the last book he kind of kidnapped Cat, his ex-wife. For me this book worked on so many levels, we gradually see the heart-ache and pain that lies between these two and how they came to fall for each other and even get divorced four years ago.Catherine Ann Blackburn is an investigative journalist laid off her [...]

    • I greatly enjoy reunion romances, especially with couples who are over thirty and have experienced enough of life to really appreciate a second chance at happiness. "Nightingale Way", from author Emily March's "Eternity Springs Series", is a sweetly sensual story in which two people who have suffered great loss find their way home again to each other. Catherine Blackburn was only twenty when she met Jack Davenport. He was tall, dark, dashing, and utterly irresistible. He also went to work for Ca [...]

    • I love this series of books!!! So I was predisposed to loving the book before I even started - but not one page disappointed me. I loved learning Jack's story - and seeing whether or not he and Cat could repair their relationship. I also loved the chance to visit again with all the rest of the cast of characters from Eternity Springs. I love the mystery of Celeste Blessing - and always love how she shares words of wisdom with everyone - gently and wisely - letting the person figure things out fo [...]

    • Dark, brooding Jack Davenport hides his secrets well, never telling his wife about the dangers of his job, never sharing his thoughts or worries . . . never sharing himself. After tragedy strikes, their marriage shatters. Now a threat to Catherine Blackburn's life brings her back into his--and gives them a second chance.A reporter whose most recent investigation has ignited a national controversy and put her in harm's way, Cat thinks she can handle herself. So when Jack grabs her off the street [...]

    • I really enjoyed this all the way through, then the ending just fell completely flat for me. I liked both Cat and Jack intially, but then I started to feel that Cat was really selfish in the way she handled Lauren's loss. I really tried to empathize, but my admiration for her lagged as the story went on. I actually liked Jack more as the story progressed. Then the ending.Cat leaves Jack for his own good and the good of flag and country! She moves clear across the country, hiding from him. SEVEN [...]

    • Nightingale Way is a book about hope, redemption, and reconciliation. It is romantic, optimistic, and enjoyable to read. It was a bit sappy at times, and it certainly would not appeal to most men. However, I read it through in one afternoon and found that I had a smile on my face at the end. Sometimes that's all you want in a book; a feel-good story. "Friends can be beams of sunshine if only you'll let them" (p. 111).In accordance with FTC guidelines, please note that I received a free copy in e [...]

    • I started it this morning, I just finished I was so caught up with Jack and Cat I almost forgot to feed my family dinner.

    • Oh how I loved this book. Jack and Cat's story was perfect for them and I love how they came together in the end.

    • Thank you to Ballantine Books for a copy of this novel Nightingale Way by Emily March. This novel was given to me in exchange for an honest review. I received no financial compensation for this review. It is time to return to Eternity Springs. In this novel we meet Jack and Cat. Their story is not like some of the other couples you have met in Eternity springs. The main difference is that they are divorced. I enjoyed the last Eternity springs novel and could not wait to share this one. Synopsis: [...]

    • I enjoy stories where the characters heal their damaged relationship and this did a good job of that. This was the first book in this series I have read and while it could stand alone all the characters from previous stories were in it and so it became a little character dense because I didn't really know anything about them to keep them straight in my mind. I was looking for a clean read and while this one was not overly descriptive, it did have a few sentences describing each encounter.

    • Eternity Springs is somewhere I would love to live.ndship, hope, love, kindness, and caring, compassionate people exist there. Cam and Sarah are finally getting married twenty years after they had started a relationshipa great deal of water has flowed under that bridge! Cat and Jack reunite after someone fire-bombs Cat's dining room and the adventure begins.

    • A heartwarming tale! Actually rated 4.5. Taken from my review at RomanceJunkies;Catherine ‘Cat’ Blackburn is a free-lance reporter since being laid off from her job at the newspaper. Nine and a half years ago, she had married Jack Davenport, who worked for her mother, a government agent with the CIA. Her mother had been against the marriage, and Cat believes that perhaps her mother had been right. Four years ago, she and Jack divorced. The breakup of their marriage had been caused by a numbe [...]

This book didn't need shifters or magic to keep me interested. Instead a story was told to me, a story about love, second chances, life and healing. A story that touched me, a story I could relate to, though I've never been in any of [...]

    • Cat Blackburn is a writer and animal rescuer who ends up being kidnapped by her ex-husband Jack Davenport after her house is firebombed. Cat has ticked off several people by writing an article about a local dog fighting ring. Jack gets a call from his boss (and Cat’s mother) to get her away from home for a while until things calm down. He brings her to his rural home in Eternity Springs and they discover that the feelings they once had for each other are still there. Cat gets involved with the [...]

    • For Jack Davenport, trying to get his ex-wife to understand why he ‘kidnapped’ her and brought her to Eternity Springs was just one more thing going wrong in his life lately. Catherine Blackburn isn’t very happy to have Jack back in her life and even though she is angry at his high-handedness in taking her away, she is determined to stick it out and maybe find peace with her ex-husband and the death of their marriage. But as Eternity Springs works its magic on these two, can past mistakes [...]

    • Cat lost her baby and her husband five years ago. Now her husband is back and determined to protect her from the danger her blog article put her in. Granted her mother was behind her favorite spy kid knapping her and taking to a home she never even knew he had even when they were married. In there lies the demise of their marriage, he was always at her head spy mom’s beck and call but never there for her even when she needed him most much to her mother’s delight.Jack wants Cat back in his li [...]

    • Reviewed on: readyourwritesBefore I give my review of this book, I must make a FULL disclosure. I'm a little biased. I love the entire Eternity Springs series. Nightingale Way is the fifth book in the series, if you aren't counting the Christmas novella. With that being said, Nightingale Way is a stand alone book.I've been waiting for Jack to have his time in the spotlight since the first book, Angel's Rest. In the previous four books, Jack's character has played a supporting role. Now, finally, [...]

    • Nightingale Way by Emily MarchISBN: 9780345528780Catherine, Cat had just been drugged and kidnapped. She had written a story for the local paper about dogfighting going on and now the mob was tied to it and other high key figures. They had torched her house already. Her ex, jack Davenport had taken her and was flying her to his house, as per her mothers orders, Melinda Blackburn for safe keeping, she fears. • I was given a copy of Nightingale Way for the purpose of writing a review. This is a wonderful story of second chances. Jack Davenport and Catherine "Cat" Davenport were deeply in love, but Jack's work with the CIA caused tension in the marriage. It did not help that Cat's mother Melinda is also Jack's boss. From the start Melinda tried to squelch the relationship and made various warnings to both Cat and Jack, but they were in love and didn't listen. As hurts begin to pile up, arguments take pl [...]
