    • If you are interested in Jung's work, you really need to *own* a copy of this, because I can see this being referenced time and again. Very informative, even to the layperson. Reading Grimm's fairy tales this year, I often became perplexed by some of the lesser known selections I felt they were confusing, or had little message to gather. This text helped me to grasp the symbolism, which turned the simplest tale into something deeper. I know I will revisit this often!

    • This book got me started on alchemy that is discussed in some detail in other jungian books.Once I finished the book, moved on to other books that discussed aspects of the underlying principles of ancient alchemy, it made the text material easier to understand.mike young
