    • Artificial dialogueThe author relies too heavily on dialogue to provide the reader with necessary background. The characters are explaining to each other what they already know. As a result, the dialogue is labored and unnatural.

    • An Inconvenient Death is the fourth book in the series, but the first of the series that I have read. I picked it solely because of its setting – a European river cruise. I certainly hope that I don’t get the shenanigans happening on our upcoming cruise that happened on this one. Or maybe I do – it certainly would be entertaining. • This cruise down the Rhine is full of interesting, and some really odd, characters thrown together for the trip. Plenty of twists and red herrings tossed in until we find out who did it. I have enjoyed all the books in this series but this one for me is closest to the originalBy The Howling (Charlotte Diamond Mysteries) in complexity and interest. If you like a cozy mystery then do try this series, all are novella length and pleasant easy reads.
